ANTE-NATAL CLINIC

We have two Antenatal Clinics.

Every Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. Our midwife helps expectant mothers during their pregnancy and with their baby in the first few weeks after birth. Appointments for the Clinic are by prior arrangement.

ILL CHILDREN UNDER FIVE

Children aged between 0-5 years old will be seen separately and an appointment for that day will be allocated.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

As well as minor surgeries, podiatry, counselling and private insurance examinations, we now also offer cryosurgery and INR warfarin testing on site. If you wish to use these services, please speak to your doctor.

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements.  This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.  There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below

It is important to make your travel health appointment 4 - 6 weeks before travel.

We offer Tetanus / Diptheria / Polio, Hepatitis A (junior and adult), Typhoid and a combined Typhoid and Hepatitis A vaccine if required.  We will also advise on other more exotic vaccines which we recomend you obtain from Nottingham Travel Clinic or in the case of Yellow Fever, we will direct you to the nearest Yellow fever Centre.  Some Malaria medication can be bought over the counter but others will be privately prescribed. The nurse will advise on the most appropriate treatment for Malaria at the time of your appointment
